William L. "Bill" McLaughlin, Jr., Esquire (1947-2016)

William L. “Bill” McLaughlin, Jr., (1947-2016) joined his father’s law practice in 1986. He took over the firm when his father passed away in 1993. Bill was still practicing at the time of his death. After graduating from Villanova University, where his studies included naval architecture, Bill pursued graduate study in geography at Penn State. Bill later earned his law degree at the Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire (now the University of New Hampshire School of Law). Bill went on to represent individuals and businesses in his father’s growing general practice. He handled civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts, including matters in the areas of employment law, civil rights, personal injury, guardianship, wills and probate, trust and estates, real estate, estate planning, traffic violations, driving while intoxicated, automobile accidents, family law, child custody, child support, divorce, and adoptions. Like his father, Bill studied every practice area needed by the members of our community. That value was instilled in our current owner, G. Elias Ganim, Esquire, who had trained under Bill’s supervision during law school.
