Wills, Trusts, and Estates

Wills, Trusts, and Estates are among the most complex and sometimes confusing areas of law. This is especially true in light of constantly changing tax and regulatory issues.

McLaughlin Ganim, Ltd., carefully takes clients through the process of assessing their personal situation and developing a set of documents that memorialize their wishes and protect their assets.

Estate Administration

When a family loses a loved one, the next-of-kin often seek guidance for navigating the probate process. Sometimes, however, probate is not necessary or advisable. McLaughlin Ganim, Ltd., can guide families through their options, advise executors or administrators throughout probate, provide representation in creditor litigation, and represent parties in the event of a Will dispute. Our attorneys may also be retained to serve as the executor or administrator for an estate, such as when the individuals named in the Will reside out-of-state or may otherwise prefer to outsource this complex role.

Please contact us for a free initial telephone consultation regarding your situation. Once we understand the issues facing you, we can suggest a path forward, discuss options for representation and the applicable fees and costs. Most matters can be handled on a fixed fee or hourly basis, with commission fee and contingency fee arrangements available in appropriate matters. Please note that the practice is restricted to Pennsylvania and select federal courts. Most of our cases are taken in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties.
