REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS

McLaughlin Law Offices has assisted many homeowners and buyers complete their transactions.  In what has become an almost absurdly complex transaction fraught with legal land mines and inevitable glitches, it is one circumstance where the expense of a legal professional may be worth it.  This is especially true when you consider that a down payment is at risk, or a blown sale can ruin your plans.  We always suggest that a lawyer review the agreement of sale before it is signed.  A one time in office review and consult can be conducted for less than $175. 

The office can also assist both buyers and sellers who do not want to use the services of a real estate broker. This is a reasonable possibility if the real estate market is conductive to bring willing buyers and sellers together. It also makes sense when the parties involved know each other. I can often set a reasonable flat rate of less than $1200 to handle one side of a private residential real estate sale.
